032. Visiting the website and server log files
When you visit this website, your browser automatically sends data to our server. The server stores the following in log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- page or file requested (URL)
- browser and operating system (user agent)
- previously visited page (referrer), if transmitted
Purpose: This data is needed to deliver the website, to ensure its security and stability, and to detect attacks or errors. It is not combined with other data or analysed for marketing purposes.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and error-free operation of the website.
Storage period: Server logs are generally deleted after 14 days. If individual entries are needed to investigate a security incident, we keep them until the investigation is complete.
043. Hosting
This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The server is located in a data centre in the EU. Hetzner processes the data listed above solely on our behalf and according to our instructions. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the reliable and secure provision of the website by a specialised provider.
054. Contact form and enquiries by email or phone
When you write to us using the contact form, we process the following information:
- name
- email address
- phone number (optional)
- the stage you selected
- your message
- the language in which you are using the website
Purpose: We use this information to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a quotation. The same applies to enquiries by email or phone.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or quotation (pre-contractual measures). In all other cases, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in responding to enquiries properly.
Transmission: Form data is sent in encrypted form (TLS) by email to our mailbox info@amm-studios.com. Sending and mailbox are provided by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. Hostinger processes the data on our behalf. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hostinger. Cyprus is a member state of the European Union; we do not intend to transfer data to any third country outside the EU/EEA.
Protection against abuse: To protect the form against automated spam, it contains a check field that is invisible to people. In addition, we limit the number of requests per IP address. For this, the IP address is held only briefly in the server’s working memory and automatically discarded once the time window has passed; it is not stored permanently. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is protection against abuse and overload.
Storage period: We delete your enquiry once it has been fully dealt with and no further contact is expected. If a contract is concluded, we keep the related correspondence for as long as statutory retention obligations require (in particular under § 257 of the German Commercial Code and § 147 of the German Fiscal Code, usually six to ten years).
065. No cookies, no tracking, no external services
This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser’s storage (for example, no “local storage”). We use no analytics or tracking tools, no advertising networks and no social media plug-ins.
All fonts (Cormorant Garamond, Manrope, JetBrains Mono) as well as all images and films are loaded from our own server. No third-party content such as YouTube, Google Maps or external content delivery networks is embedded. Visiting the website therefore does not transmit any data to such providers.
076. Encryption (SSL/TLS)
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption (certificate from Let’s Encrypt). You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in the address bar and the padlock symbol in your browser. This means that data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.
087. Recipients of your data
Your data is received only by us and by the service providers named above who act on our behalf: Hetzner Online GmbH (hosting) and Hostinger International Ltd. (email sending and mailbox). Data is passed on to other third parties only if we are legally obliged to do so.
098. Obligation to provide data
You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide us with personal data. Without your name, email address and message, however, we cannot process an enquiry sent via the form. Providing a phone number is optional.
109. No automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

If you object, we will no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. No particular form is required, for example an email to info@amm-studios.com is sufficient.
